It’s the perfect time to take a scenic drive and see the magical autumn colors!

This autumn is the season of magic to show how leaves progressively change color, from the end of August to the middle of November, across each region of the USA. Timing is crucial when it comes to catching the season’s most vibrant foliage. Thinking about fall here I have listed some of the scenic driveways for seeing the best color.

Scenic Route 100 (Vermont)

Vermont’s longest state highway is also one of the most scenic, well-loved, charming New England villages. During the Autumn season here, you will have one of the best leaf-peeping experiences– whilst enjoying the natural Fall exhibition just during your drive, strolling in scenic state parks, hiking mountain ranges, or even exploring stunning waterfalls in this area.

Vermont Route 100 runs straight through the center of the state, from north to south. Along the way, you’ll find a wealth of recreation opportunities, not to mention fabulous shopping, dining, and lodging.

Mad River Valley (Vermont):

The Mad River Valley is one of the absolute best places to take in these gorgeous colors of the Sugar and Red Maple trees. you’ll not only be in an ideal location to set out in the Mad River Valley on these scenic Vermont fall foliage drives, but you’ll also be surrounded by these bright reds and gold leaves.

Route 112  (New Hampshire):

The scenic Route 112, better known as the Kancamagus Highway, is the only road that passes directly east and west through the White Mountain National Forest. New Hampshire delivers colorful fall foliage at the earlier end of the September-to-October range. This is a dramatic road that reveals the magnificence of one of New Hampshire’s most beloved scenic spots. From this road, your scenic vistas include the wilderness and the highest peaks of the presidential range.

Acadia National Park (Maine):

Shenandoah National Park (Virginia):

If you’re wanting to plan a camping trip this fall, then you should consider visiting Shenandoah National Park.
