We Travelled from Bangalore to Haneda airport via HongKong in Cathay Pacific Airways. Smooth flight with 6+ hours layover in HK.
Arrived in Tokyo at around 9PM (local time) and took the train + taxi to reach Tokyo Marriott Hotel in Shinagawa.
Day 1
As usual, we woke up late and lazed in the hotel for half a day. The (continental) Breakfast was in the hotel and well worth it. Lunch: we had MTR readymade rice specialities. We spent about two hours trying to decide, what to visit for the day and started around 3 PM (crazy! i know). The order of the day was to Shop and we didn't succeed much in that. Dinner was at a nearby indian restaurant.
Day 2
Woke up early as we had to shift to a different hotel (closer to disneyland). After finishing up our (continental) BF in the hotel. We took a taxi to ibis Styles Tokyo Bay that costed around ¥8000. The beautiful thing about ibis Styles hotel is the place its located, close to disneyland and with a view of the ocean. Its a beautiful boutique hotel with big spacious rooms(surprising for Tokyo) and nice ambience.
Once check-in process was complete, we decided to roam around in Ginza. Ginza is one of the shopping hubs in Tokyo. The highlight was the apple store with stock availabilty of iPhone 11.
Day 3
Booked a bus trip to Mount Fuji via Klook: Mt Fuji Flower Sightseeing Trip from Tokyo: 5th Station, All-You-Can-Eat Fruit Picking, & Kachi Kachi Ropeway. It costed us ₹ 20,358 for 2 adults n 1 kid. It was a wonderful trip with chance to pick and eat grapes along the way.
Day 4
Visited Disneyland Tokyo: Disneyland tokyo is expensive and very crowded. If you want to visit this place, then you need to be at the gates as soon as they open. Else, you need to stand in a queue for at least an hour, for each ride. It is a fun place to visit as long as you have the patience to wait.
Day 5
One of the things that you shouldn't miss, when in tokyo is, teamLab Borderless Museum. Located in Koto city, it is one of the most immersive museums that i have been to. We had loads of fun in this place and can never be forgotten. After the visit to the museum, we rode in the giant ferris wheel. The view from the top was awesome and totally worth it.
Day 6
This day was reserved for shopping in Ginza, Shinjuku and couple of other places.
Day 7
Mid-afternoon flight back to Bangalore with a layover of 6 hours in Hong kong.
