Day 1
The Tibet Museum
This museum documents each & every detail on the freedom struggle of Tibetans, their story, their journey etc. It is a must visit if you are at Mcleodganj.
His Holiness The Dalai Lama's Main Temple
The Dalai Lama Temple is adjacent to the museum and both of these have free entries. We offered our prayers and the vibe of the place was divine. We even went to the rooftop of the temple to get a glimpse of the majestic Dhauladhar ranges.
We had some local Tibetan cuisine in lunch.
Bhagsunag Temple & Waterfall
Bhagsu Temple is only 10 minute's of drive away from the mainroad. The temple is ancient and has a swimming pool besides it. On the same path is the way to Bhagsunag Waterfall where you have to walk all the way up to the waterfall without any vehicles available. But the end view is worth it.Day 2
St John Church
At a distance of 1 km from McLeod Ganj and 8 km from Dharamshala, St. John Church, also known as St. John In The Wilderness, is an Anglican church situated at Forsyth Ganj on the way to McLeod Ganj amidst beautiful deodar trees.
HPCA Dharamshala Cricket Stadium
The HDCA cricket stadium is the highest one in the whole world ! It offers spectacular views of the beautiful Dhauladhar ranges. I am sure it is one of the most beautiful cricket stadiums in the world.
Dharamshala War Memorial
We visited the Dharamshala War Memorial, built in the memory of war heroes and their efforts to protect their motherland.
Local Shopping
We explored the local market, which was bustling with colors and energy all around. We purchased a few sweaters and picked some souvenirs.
Sunset Point
The sunset point is located near Naddi Village, about 4 kilometers from Mcleodganj town. Again, breathtaking view.
