The next day we did a day in Lahaina, which happened to be the day of misfortunate events. This is a very beautiful drive from Kihei - one of our favorites! We wanted to do a Kayak tour but the tour was cancelled by the operator due to the ocean swells that were coming in.
We had breakfast at the#bayabowlfoodtruck (can you tell we love acai bowls?) and hopped over to#banyantreepark for some shade while eating. This is an incredible huge tree and perfect for hiding from the sun for a bit. Also, on weekends, local vendors set up shop there!
We then decided to do a bit of shopping along the main drag and the outlet mall. We then grabbed some lunch at the#onotacosfoodtruck . This was a bit of a walk for us. We wish we would've grabbed our car back at the park and drove to the food truck.
To get a bit of a break from walking we decided to go to the#blowhole . We didn't have the proper footware so we didn't actually go all the way down but you can definitely see it from the cliff!
I had heard that from the#hulagrill you can see the cliff jumpers at Sunset. Unfortunately, there was a 2 hour waiting list even though we had got there at 4:30 for actual seats so we had a seat at the bar and the cliff was too far to truly see anyone jumping. Fortunately, we got to sit at the beach and enjoy a beautiful sunset. Kaanapali has a little shopping complex called Whaler's Village. This has some pretty cute shops in it!
I love Hawaii but never been to Maui, one day I'll get there!
@chobiull18 - Thank you! I think you would love it and wouldn't be disappointed :)
It is my dream to stay maui . I always wanted to go this place. Nice writing. Thanks
