Japan - Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka Without Too Many Shrines

Day 8: Kyoto - Fushimi Inari, Day Trip Osaka

• Hiked around Fushimi Inari 
  • It was foggy and cool, which was really neat
• Shinkansened to Osaka to wander around Dotonbori
  • We tried okonomiyaki
  • We tried a bunch of street food 
• Shinkansened back to Tokyo where we stayed in Akihabara
  • We shouldn't have stayed in Akiba 

5/10 really regret staying in Akihabara the last few days of our trip 

Day 9: Tokyo - Shopping, Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden, Harajuku 

• Akihabara 
  • It's worth a visit if you are interested in a maid cafe, which we weren't
  • Akihabara is really overhyped and there's not much to do there 
• Shopping
  • Checked out Tokyu Hands, Don Quijote, and Takashimaya for souvenirs 
• Got to see Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden 
  • It was beautiful and calming 
• Harajuku
  • It was packed and we got to see some really creative people 

7/10 this day could have been more memorable
