Day 6:
We woke up early in the morning to take the bus from Patras to Athens. The price was $25 for a 2 and a half hour ride.We had a quick breakfast in a tavern near the bus tavern and we set out to visit our points of interest.
The first museum that we visited was the Benaki Museum. The entrance fee was $7 and it displays a collection of artefacts that go from prehistory to the modern day. It's a very interesting museum with carefully chosen artefacts and I definetly recommend it.
The next museum we visited was the War Museum of Athens. There we learned a lot about the military history of Greece and saw some awesome looking uniforms. The entry fee was about $7.Also,we slept at the Athens Hawks Hostel for about $12 a night.
Day 7:
In the seventh day we set out to see the famous Acropolis. The entrance fee was about $24 but it was valid for other sites in the area as well, such as the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Roman Agora and the Tower of the Winds. There were many tourists but it was still awesome. From there we headed over to the Panathenaic Stadium, the only stadium in the world built entirely of marble.
In the evening we took a walk around Anafiotika,a very picturesque district, before heading over to a bar to have a pint and then to the hostel to sleep.
Patral castle is sooo beautiful, will visit.
I have always to go to Greece! Never knew about Patras Castle. Your itinerary will be a helpful guide!
