After driving for days we decided to spend as much as we could in Colorado with the the Rockies being our ultimate desitination.
We stayed at any cheap hotel in Denver and looked out for the local bar scene which seemed fairly dead on a weeknight. The highlight of our time in Denver was really the Denver Art Museum. The museum was the usual panoply of eras and styles, a particularly great American mid-century collection in my view. Unlike other museums located in congested areas with high traffic, the Denver Art Museum had a much more relaxed and leisurely feel.
After trying some local brews in the Denver bar scene we drove to Boulder for our time in The Rockies.
