Generally the south of india has always been ignored from tourism point of view. South india is very underrated as a tourist spot. Even in South india, the city of Hyderabad, a jewel of Nizam, is one of the most underrated city in india. The city is sooo diverse with both hindu, christian and the islamic influence in the architecture and the FOOD is the best in the whole country.Hyderabad is the foodies PARADISE.
Day 1:- we arrived in the rajiv gandhi international airport Hyderabad early in the morning so we were pretty tired and we headed to the hotel courtyard by Marriott ( prefer star hotels because of the hygiene) even these star hotels are pretty affordable here.https://www.google.com/travel/hotels/courtyard%20by%20marriott%20hyderabad/entity/CgsIgIiO7dTn5YmgARAB?g2lb=2502548%2C4258168%2C4306835%2C4317915%2C4328159%2C4330862%2C4371335%2C4401769%2C4419364%2C4429192%2C4431137%2C4433754%2C4456077%2C4458304%2C4463263%2C4464463%2C4466981%2C4270859%2C4284970%2C4455785&hl=en-IN&gl=in&un=1&q=courtyard%20by%20marriott%20hyderabad&rp=EICIju3U5-WJoAEQgIiO7dTn5YmgATgCQABIAcABAg&ictx=1&ved=0CAAQ5JsGahcKEwjonJOIypbtAhUAAAAAHQAAAAAQBA&utm_campaign=sharing&utm_medium=link&utm_source=htls&hrf=IgNJTlIqFgoHCOQPEAsYFhIHCOQPEAsYFxgBKAA
We checked in to the hotel, relaxed for a bit and then headed to get the WORLD FAMOUS Hyderabadi biryani at paradise restaurant in the Secunderabad area, oh my god this was one of the best food i ever had, the spices, the aroma and the taste is just splendid. Above all that itsss sooo affordable , the speciality of this dish is you can get it for 1$ and even for 100$ without the compromise in taste.after that heavenly food and super full stomach we just crashed.we already knew that this was gonna be a food trip.https://www.google.com/search?gs_ssp=eJzj4tVP1zc0zDA0ragoyilUYDRgdGDwEihILEpMySxOVUjKLKpMzMsEAMpWC48&q=paradise+biryani&oq=paradise+&aqs=chrome.3.69i57j46i175i199i273i433j35i39j46i131i199i291i433j69i60.4719j0j9&client=ms-android-samsung-gs-rev1&sourceid=chrome-mobile&ie=UTF-8#trex=m_t:lcl_akp,rc_f:rln,rc_ludocids:4066347626283015446,ru_lqi:ChBwYXJhZGlzZSBiaXJ5YW5pIgOIAQFI7Mjj2-WAgIAIWiwKEHBhcmFkaXNlIGJpcnlhbmkQABABGAAYASIQcGFyYWRpc2UgYmlyeWFuaQ,trex_id:KAWG0b
Day 2:- day 2 of our food fuel trip included , yup you guessed it right more food but also ancient architecture. After having a good breakfast at the hotel, we took an uber( I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND DRIVING) to Golconda fort. Golconda fort was the oldest fort in the city. It was the fort held by the nizam rulers until late after the independence when the then home minister of the country fought the nizams and united the country. If it weren't for him, there would not be a united india. The view from the fort was just breath taking and hiking up the fort was also a very breath taking task. Then we headed to get the Hyderabad famous irani chai and mirchi bajji( chilli fritters) and samosa ( potato fritters) which was a huge staple for many people here. After the tire some day we headed to the bar in the hotel and had some drinks. https://www.google.com/search?q=blue+sea+hotel&oq=blue+sea&aqs=chrome.3.69i57j46i433j46i20i175i199i263j0.5570j0j9&client=ms-android-samsung-gs-rev1&sourceid=chrome-mobile&ie=UTF-8#trex=m_t:lcl_akp,rc_f:nav,rc_ludocids:15317332539924620209,rc_q:Blue%2520Sea%2520Tea%2520%2526%2520Snacks,ru_q:Blue%2520Sea%2520Tea%2520%2526%2520Snacks,trex_id:HrfLie
Day 3:-
As usual we had breakfast in the hotel and then headed to the salarjung museum, one of the oldest museums in the country, the artifacts on there and the history it involves is just breath taking. Taking back to the Hyderabad in the 1700's. If your not careful , hours just go by in the museum so you need to keep track of time. We then next headed to the falaknama palace.the palace which was owned by the nizam kings of Hyderabad now turned into the hotel by taj group.you can stay here if you want to experience the authenticity. But its very expensive. However we went there just for dinner, and just enjoyed the gourmet Hyderabadi dishes. DO NOT MISS THE MUTTON chops here.https://www.google.com/travel/hotels/falaknuma%20palace/entity/CgsIroCAoaKY7O3TARAB?g2lb=2502548%2C4258168%2C4306835%2C4317915%2C4328159%2C4330862%2C4371335%2C4401769%2C4419364%2C4429192%2C4431137%2C4433754%2C4456077%2C4458304%2C4463263%2C4464463%2C4466981%2C4270859%2C4284970%2C4455785&hl=en-IN&gl=in&un=1&q=falaknuma%20palace&rp=EK6AgKGimOzt0wEQroCAoaKY7O3TATgCQABIAcABAg&ictx=1&ved=0CAAQ5JsGahcKEwj4r6OZzpbtAhUAAAAAHQAAAAAQBA&utm_campaign=sharing&utm_medium=link&utm_source=htls&hrf=IgNJTlIqFgoHCOQPEAsYGhIHCOQPEAsYGxgBKAA
Day 4:-
Today, the day 4 is just food , food , food. Today's breakfast was not in the hotel. We had breakfast at 4 am at RAM KI BANDI, the dosa place (traditional breakfast) the speciality of this place is that it opens at 3 am and closes at 7 am. This is one of the top eateries in Hyderabad. People literally fight for the food here.

Haleem is a dish made with lamb, wheat and plenty of spices and ghee stewed for our 12 hours. Haleem is the Hyderabad trademark dish , one plate of haleem will keep you running for two days and costs around just 2$. https://www.google.com/search?gs_ssp=eJzj4tVP1zc0TDYuL8swMTFRYDRgdGDw4i7ILC5JVMjILy1OBQCKewkS&q=pista+house&oq=pista&aqs=chrome.1.69i57j46i199i273i291i433j0i20i263j46i175i199i273j0i271.1547j0j9&client=ms-android-samsung-gs-rev1&sourceid=chrome-mobile&ie=UTF-8#om=1&trex=m_t:lcl_akp,rc_f:rln,rc_ludocids:6740092449500520123,ru_lqi:CgtwaXN0YSBob3VzZSIDiAEBSND9zuPlgICACFoiCgtwaXN0YSBob3VzZRAAEAEYABgBIgtwaXN0YSBob3VzZQ,trex_id:ASCzt
Then we just had to get that one more dose of biryani, so we headed to "shah ghouse" restaurant to get the authentic lamb biryani. The thing with biryani in Hyderabad is the flavour of biryani in each restaurant is unique and is upto the person to determine which is the best. For dessert we got "shahi thukda" a sweet made from milk and old crunchy bread. After this sugar crush we crashed.https://www.google.com/search?q=shah+ghouse&oq=shah&aqs=chrome.2.69i57j46i39j0i67i457j46i67i175i199j0i271.4532j0j9&client=ms-android-samsung-gs-rev1&sourceid=chrome-mobile&ie=UTF-8#trex=m_t:lcl_akp,rc_f:rln,rc_ludocids:16062526034685292308,ru_lqi:CgtzaGFoIGdob3VzZUjA4vHA5YCAgAhaIgoLc2hhaCBnaG91c2UQABABGAAYASILc2hhaCBnaG91c2U,ru_phdesc:yL9fHG3C_PY,trex_id:GRyeQb
Day 5:- as all good things come to end this one did too, we had to catch an early flight and said goodbye to the city.but wait not so fast we have the visited the iconic charminar yet, the four pillar monumemt of Hyderabad and the pride of Hyderabad.
This is one of the cities which i can confidently say that it's not the last time we will be visiting it.
