Day One

Fly into Ithaca Airport, rent car, set up camp at Buttermilk Falls SP.  Can also stay in a hotel in Ithaca, of course, in which case no need to rent a car until Day Three.

Dinner options: Hakacha, Allechant, The Antlers, On the Street Pitas, Le Cafe Cent-Dix

Coffee options: Chatty Cathy Coffee & Juice Co., Carol's Cafe, Alley Cat Cafe, Nothing Nowhere

Day Two

driving/walking directions

explore town of Ithaca: Cornell University campus, Cascadilla Gorge, waterfalls including Triphammer Falls, and Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art

Day Three

driving directions

• leave Buttermilk Falls/Ithaca at about 10 am
• drive to Watkins Glen SP, spend 1.5 hrs
• drive to town of Corning, spend 1.5 hrs
• return to Buttermilk Falls/Ithaca

Day Four

driving directions

• leave Buttermilk Falls/Ithaca at about 9 am
• drive to town of Skaneateles, spend 1.5 hrs
• drive to Harriet Tubman House, spend 1.5 hrs
• on return drive to Ithaca, stop at Taughannock Falls SP (1.5 hrs) and a few wineries along the way (0.5 hrs each)

Day Five

return rental car, fly home
