We knew that we were in the #winterseason so we didn't stay too long in #windermere . We would love to go back when the weather is warmer so that we can actually hang out on the lakes. We didn't realize at this time that it's kind of harder to walk around out side of getting to the central hub of the center of town. It might be better to rent a car to go to Windermere or plan a hotel a little closer to the lake itself.
We did end up going to #beatrixpotter Museum (which is different than going to her actual house which is about 45 minute drive away from Windermere). If you have little ones, this is a very cute museum and I think they would very much enjoy it!
