Where to stay: Four Points by Sherato Destin-Fort Walton Beach! Amazing hotel #marriott Hotel is right on the beach. There is a nice pool on ground level righ ton the beach so while you are sitting at the pool you can sit look at the ocean and take in the beautiful ocean smell. There is a great place at the hotel for breakfast out on the deck on a the second floor where you can sit eat and look at the ocean. You can also eat lunch and dinner here as well. Durink the afternnon the have a DJ here to play while you are sitting out by the pool. They also have games by the pool for kids and adults. The hotel also has outdoor fireplaces which is a nice touch for night when you just want to come back relax and talk with others. #poolactivities #musicathepool
Ocean: The ocean in Destin is like being in the Caribbean it is so crystal clear blue and clam! I have never seen anything like it. We went in June and the water was very warm. The sand is white and the way the water reflects off of the sand is so beautiful. #whitesand
Things to do: In the evenings after dinner we wnet down to the Harbor Walk Marina and walked around. There is so much to see and do for kids and adults. If you catch it right you can see the firsherman coming in and cleaning there dailt cathes. The street are lined with bars, ice cream, places to eat, live music, and different activities. It is always busy down there and the shops very nice to look around in. #livemusic
Activities: We rented a pontoon boat for a half day which cost us around $250.00 I highly recommend renting a boat if you can for the day. A half day was long enough though we thought. If you go out longer you will need to pack a lunch. We went to Crab island for the day and if you have a boat this is where you need to go! Hundreds of boats come out here and dock and there is music playing, vendors on little boats driving around to each boat selling snacks, ice cream, souveniors, rafts and many more things. There is also a general store on water where you can swim up buy rafts and drinks. There is also a floating bar where you can buy food and drinks. I have never seen anytihing like it! Water is clear and the people are out partying. It is kid friendly and it can also be an adult party as well. #crabisland #pontoonboat
@chobiull my favorite thing there was crab island! Hands down!! I have never seen anything like it and we have been everywhere!
