DAY 2: Day trip to San Basilio de Palenque (locals call it Palenke). If you want to get out of the heart of Cartagena for a day, definitely make a trip to this village, which was the first free slave town in the Americas. It’s loaded with history and definitely worth the trip.⁣⁣

DAY 3: Explore the historic Old Town (featured in this pic!) Its colorful streets have tons of restaurants, shops, museums, and bars, and colorful, instagram-worthy architecture😻⁣
