As the capital of Colombia, Bogotá has tonssss to do🤩
DAY 1: Visit Museo del Oro (the Gold Museum - yes this is exactly what it sounds like, a museum full of gold artifacts). Then walk around the historic Plaza de Bolívar and explore La Calendaria, a touristy area with lots of cute shops.
DAY 2: Day trip to the Zipaquirá Salt Cathedral, an underground salt mine turned cathedral.
DAY 3: Take the cable car to the top of Monserrate to take in the city views. At night go out and hit the clubs! (Bogotá has the best night life in Colombia, and arguably all of Latin America)
DAY 4: Take a 3.5 hour bus ride to Villa de Lleyva and spend the day and night in this adorable colonial town. There are museums, good restaurants, and lots of shops. Villa de Lleyva is a relaxing break from the craziness of Bogotá!
DAY 5: Explore more of Villa de Lleyva, and then head back to Bogotá.
