Day 11
In day 11 I rented a car in Exeter to drive around Cornwall. My first destination was a village called Tintagel, whose castle is often associated with King Arthur's legend.I also visited Merlin's cave and St Nectan's Glen, two very beautiful places near the village.I ate some nice cornish pastries for dinner.
Day 12:
I woke up early in the morning to drive to Newquay,a beach resort.I parked my car and headed straight to the beach. It's a very beautiful resort. The water had the right temperature and there were a lot of activities to do.After a day spent at the beach,I had a nice plate of fish and chips for dinner and went to sleep.
Day 13:
For the thirteenth day I headed to St Michael's Mount,a castle situated off the coast of Marazion. The sea covers up the road to the island for a good part of the day so you can only get there between mid-tide and low water. After a quick visit I headed to the town of Helston, where I visited the museum of Cornish Life,a very nice museum that explains a lot about the old ways of life in Cornwall and the local culture. Then I headed to Truro,a town with a very beautiful cathedral.Truro is the place where I've eaten the weirdest meal of my entire life, the stargazy pie.The car costed $80 for three days.
