Day 1: We arrived early morning into Maui from a flight from Lax. Flight was around $450.00 a person roundtrip.
-Our hotel had a taxi service that we paid and extra $50.00 one way for to get to and from the airport. It was worth it this way we could get off the plane and go straight to the service.
-We stayed at the Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa. It runs about $500.00 a night depending on the view you want. Trust me you can get any room and it will be perfect. #marriott
-The resort has a huge pool that sits along the beach, with a lazy river, swim up bars, waterfalls, little slides and little caves. It is the best pool I have ever seen. The water is warm and the bartenders are great. #bestpool #waterfalls #swimupbar
-Drinks are a little pricey but you are in Hawaii so that is to be expected. #priceydrinks
-We had dinner on the property our first night being we did not want to leave since it was such a long day of travel. We ate a little place that over looked the pool. The views of the sunset over the ocean was amazing. Again prices were high for dinner but you are at the resort but the food was good. #sunsetovertheocean
Day 2: We spent the day at the pool relaxing and the other half of the day on the beach. #beachday
-If you walk down a little there are cliffs you can jump off of they are not to high but high enough.
-We got ready early becuase we had reservation at the Old Lahaina Luau. #luau #bestluau
-Make sure you make reservation a few month in advance because they fill up very fast. #makereservationsearly
-Doors open at around 6:30 but be sure to show up at least 45 mins early so you can get a spot in line and get a good table. they let you choose when you book from sitting on the ground with pillows to regular chairs. If you can manage sit on the group the seats are better and it makes it so much more fun. #showupearly
-The dinner is a buffet and let me tell you the food was out of this world! You get about an hour to eat then the show starts! #dinnerbuffet
-The show is about an hour long and they are all excellent
-It costs around $85.00 per person but it is worth it.
Day 3: We took a trip to Twin Falls for the day #twinfalls
-This was a full day adventure
-First it started off with taking us into the forest and we saw big bamboo trees #forest
-We saw big waterfalls that you could hike to or look at from a distance #waterfalls
-Along the way we stopped at the ocean where we saw tuturles nesting in the sand and people out surfing the big waves. #turtlesnesting
-It was a great all day adventure and we saw so much of Maui that we would have never saw. #alldayadventure
-We had dinner at our resort again being we got back late. We actually got room service becuase we were just so tired form being gone all day. #roomservice
Day 4: We wanted to spend the day relaxing so we did that at our beautiful pool and beach. We spent the day sipping drinks and making new friends at the pool. Later we walked the long beach probably about 2 miles and it was beautiful.
-We spent the last night in the town walking around shopping, drinking, stopping at different bars. There is so much to do in town.
-Be sure to check out the big tree in the center of town that goes all along a big piece of property. It is really something to see and you can not miss it. #bigtree
-We had dinner at Honu Seafood and Pizza #freshseafood
-Seafood is fresh and out of this world
-The views are stunning. #stunningviews
-You are right on the water and you can see the fish swimming around
-We did not have reservations but we only waited about 20 mins for a table.
