Day 1: Arrived by plane from LAX. It took us 15 hours! Very long but the flight was really big! After landing we took a taxi to our hotel. We stayed near the city so it was not far. Taxi cost us around $50.00 which was not bad being it was about a 20 min drive.
Loding: We stayed at the Renaissance Beijing Wangfujing Hotel and it costs around $200.00 a night. It was worth the money. Very up to date hotel with techonogly and decorations. We had the best time. The hotel actually has robots who deliver things to your room which is awesome. The hotel is within walkind distance to everything! The hotel has #marriott #robots #closetoeverything
Breakfast: Our hotel offered a great free breakast! Which is nice becuase it is hard to find a good american breakfast when you are out of the country. They offerend american food, cereals, donuts, bread and local food. #freebreakfast We ate here every morning so it was perfect.
Day 2: We took a trip to the Great Wall! Now the weather was great being we were there in December but once we got to the Great Wall it was cold and snowy. We did not let that stop us! We walked up the stairs and it took us about 45 mins and it was very cold but we brought big coats, hats, and glove so we were ready! It was almost 2 hours from our hotel to the Great Wall and traffic was heavy but it was an experience. #greatwall #coldweather
Day 3: China is known for their tea so we wanted to experience what the tea was all about. We went to a tea house and had private room for just us and a nice woman that worked there and she showed us how each tea was made, what it did for you and what was in it. It lasted around an hour and it was pricey around $100.00 for both of us but it was nice to learn about the differnt teas and to be able to try them all. We ended up buying a few to bring home. #tea #tearoom
Dinning: We ate at the Jingzun Peking Duck Restaurant if you go try the duck out of this world, We also ate at teh F Bistronome the views are great and the food was small bites, and the other place was Wan Li and it is actually located in teh hotel we stayed at. The food was so excellent and a bit pricey but worth it. #bestdinners
@monique241 we did go on from there! We went to Hong Kong and we spent 3 weeks all over Asia in so many different parts. If you go there you just have to spend the time.
I'd love to go to the Great Wall. Did you go elsewhere other than Beijing? Would love to do a large trip to China one day
