Day 1: We arrived in Punta Cana around 12:30 pm. Once we got off the plane it took us another hour to get our bags and clear customs. Be prepared when you get off the plane you are let off on the runway and then shuttled by bus to airport. It's very hot and packed so wear something cool.

Checking In: We stayed at the Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana and it was all inclusive! So they had a driver pick us up at the airport and the ride was about 20 mins to get to our resort. Wasn't bad abd the van had air! Once we got to the resort we were greeted with cold towels abd hand sanstizer and they took our bags while we got settled. Check in was fast and very easy! Within 10 mins we were on a golf cart on our way to our room!
Rooms: the rooms are so beautiful and big! We had a nice balcony overlooking the pool and you could see the ocean. Each balcony has a hot tub on it so that was a nice touch for relaxing at night. Each room also has a small fridge abd it's stocked with waters, coke products and candy! They refill it daily so that was very nice to have at night.

Beach: The beach was lovely with nice sand but the water was a little brown and they said this was because it was the time of year and all the sand was getting kicked up. So I'm thinking it's not always like that. It was still beautiful and it was nice to take long walks on. The servers come out to the beach to deliver drinks to you so that was nice to not have to go to the bar every time.

Drinks: The bartenders are on their game! They made the best drinks! My advice to you is tell them make me your favorite drink snd I promise you that you won't regret it! The wines were good that were included but there were a few I saw you could purchase that I wanted to try so I purchased a few at night. Very reasonable prices!
Entertainment: The shows at night were excellent! They had a circus one night and acrobats another night. After each show they have dancing for a few hours which was nice for the people who wanted to stay up.
Food: In the am you could go to the breakfast buffet and then sit outside and est snd look at the water which was beautiful. The food was great! They would make you fresh eggs, omelets, toast, they had potatoes, fruits, cereals, pancakes and so so much more! Lunch you could eat at the seafood restaurant, they had pizza, sometimes they cooked on the beach, places to get hamburgers and fries, and the buffet is also open for lunch. Dinner time they had many places to choose from: Italian, Japanese, seafood, steak and the buffet had a nightly theme night so different food every night.
Pool: The pool was huge!!!!! I can't say enough how wonderful the pool was! It had a lazy river, it had a swim up bar, it also had another pool up front which was an infinity pool and it was right next to the bar. Some rooms had a walk out to the pool so you could be right there!
The service, the pool, beach, food and amenities were amazing! It was a short stay but so worth it!
