- Afternoon arrival via plane from Chicago
- Borough Market (for street food)
- Assortment of street food options. We tried the Ethiopian Flavours stall among some other options. The food was worth the hype!
- Blackfriar Pub (for beer)
- DAY 2
- Hyde Park
- We visited a ton of parks during this trip and Hyde Park was by far our favorite. It was a lovely stroll on a crisp Autumn day.
- Windsor Castle (State Apartments, Semi-state rooms)
- Duck & Waffle (for a romantic dinner w/ a beautiful view)
- The views were breathtaking! The namesake dish was delish! Highly recommend for a fancy dinner.
- Hawksmoore – Seven Dials (for dessert - Sticky Toffee Pudding!)
- DAY 3
- Regency Café – Westminster (for full English brekkie!)
- Buckingham Palace - changing of the guards 11:30AM
- Changing of the Gaurds is a must-see event. Go early and secure a good spot to view all the action.
- Green Park
- St. James
- Westminster Abbey
- Houses of Parliament + Big Ben
- Big Ben was under construction at the time of our visit, but still a glorious sight.
- London Eye
- Mayfair Chippy (for British classics - scotch egg, fish + chips!)
- DAY 4
- Tower of London
- Tower Bridge
- Swan Shakespeare’s Globe (for Afternoon tea!!)
- Tate Modern
- Shoreditch / street art scene
- Dishoom – Shoreditch (for Indian food)
