A day in Brighton

There is nothing like a day out in Brighton, there is so much to do.

We like to start our day on the seafront as there is so many stalls, a tiny funfair, shops, restaurants and bars to enjoy. Some of the bars have live singers and bands so there is a very fun and chilled atmostphere. 

We always stop at Brighton Shellfish & Oyster Bar, which is opposite the Fishing Museum, they have the best seafood in Brighton. They have little tables and chairs next to it so you are eating your seafood on the beach. Be careful of the seagulls though, they will stare at you hoping you will feed them lol.

We love just chilling out on the beach with seafood and a few drinks on a sunny day.

The Brighton Fishing Museum is free and small, so quick to get around, but it's good to find out some of the local history.

The seafront isn't just where everything happens in Brighton though, make sure you walk up the lanes and streets that lead off the seafront as there is loads of really interesting shops to discover. Brighton is a student town so there are a lot of pubs with cheap cocktails and beer, especially at the weekends. 

The pier is the best place to go if you have kids as there is so much to do with the little theme park at the end and game stalls. It can be a little expensive if you do everything but you can get tokens for the rides to save some money. There is also a few places to eat so you don't have to come all the way to the seafront to eat.

I love sea creatures so the Sealife Centre is my favourite place to go. It's not a huge centre but they still have loads of amazing creatures. 

Parking isn't great in Brighton so if you can get the train or bus, it will be a lot easier for you. Last time we parked in Brighton, we finally found a car park but paid £22 for 5 hours.
