A day at Winter Wonderland

Winter Wonderland in London is amazing!

Not going to lie, it is expensive but the amazing experience you get is worth it.

We spent about £138 for the 2 of us but that included entry to Winter Wonderland, getting into the Ice Bar, a ride on the ferris wheel, a meal deal with a drink from the Baverian Village and tickets to the circus. 

You can pick what time you arrive so I would suggest getting there are early as you can. The first few hours are a bit quiet and then around lunch time, it gets busier and busier as the day goes on which 

The Ice Bar was brilliant, you are given a big jacket and gloves to wear so don't worry about dressing for it. You also get a little casino chip to get a free cocktail once you are inside but you can buy more cocktails, just remember to pay for them when you first go in. The actual bar is fantastic! The have ice sculpures, big blocks of ice to sit on or use as tables and ice art work. Everything is ice! Even the glasses are made out of ice. There's a great atmostphere as everyone is having such a great time. 

The Ferris Wheel, the best time to go on here is during the morning when the queue isn't very long but if you want an amazing view and don't mind the long queue, going on at night is the time for it. Seeing London from the top of the ferris wheel at night is just breathtaking.

The Baverian Village is a lot of fun, there is lots of food stalls, bars, a massive German drinking hall, live perforamces from bands or duos and a food hall. We got the food deal to have a meal and drink which was brilliant, we had a huge plate of food and an alcoholic drink. We didn't have to but we sat in the food hall to eat, it was nice to sit in somewhere warm to chill out for a little while.

There are loads of rides to go on but you need to buy tokens for those. I would suggest buying them online if the website lets you as most of the token stands that I came across were closed. The tokens are very expensive and you need a set amount of tokens for each ride. 

Cirque Berserk was AMAZING!!! The performers in this show are complete pros, the whole show was just out of this world. Jugglers, the motorcycle ‘Globe of Death’, acrobats, aerialists, dancers and stuntmen. I would highly recommend this circus as I had the best time!

The Ice Rink, you need to pay extra for this but it looks like a lot of fun. I always fall over when I go ice skating so I left this one to those who were a lot braver haha.

There is usually something new added each year to keep things interesting.
