Beer is a very small town with not a lot going on but if you just want to chill out on the beach in the sun and eat ice cream, it’s perfect! You can hire deckchairs for the day so that you can be comfortable as it’s a pebble beach, not sand.
There is a seafood stall, called Beer Fisheries, does amazing seafood at a really good price concidering it has just come out of the sea.
Ducky's, the ice cream café, is on the beach so you don’t have to back up to shops. Although they weren’t accept cards when I went so make sure you take some cash with you.
We had a lovely full English in The Dolphin Hotel, you can walk through the halls to check out all the old pictures and the fun house carnival mirrors that are quite fun haha.
The Heritage Centre is small but is crammed full of information about the local area.
There are lots of shops in the little streets if you like getting souvenirs.
Barrel O' Beer is a great little pub that I would highly recommend as they have a great selection of beers including local ones. They have a great saying in the pub that is "I've had a beer, in Beer at the Barrel O'Beer".
