We decided to fly back to Tokyo rather than take the trains because it would save us a few hours. We took the ferry to Takamatsu and a Taxi to the airport and it was a quick flight back to HND. Took the trains back into the city and a Taxi the from the nearest station. Checked back into the Andaz and our bags we left at the Park Hyatt were already waiting in our room for us. We wanted some good Sushi and after the Omakase experience we had before we just wanted some high quality sushi that we could order whatever we wanted it. The concierge advised a lot of places were closed because it was sunday but their sushi restaurant was open and we could order a la carte. I had read some reviews on it before and the quality looked great but didn’t realize you could order a la carte. They called up to the restaurant and they had some space so we were in luck. It’s behind the bar on the roof of the building, it's a small room with two sushi counters and 4 seats at each one. One counter was full and then they put us at the other and we had the other chef all to ourselves. We ordered a bunch of stuff and everything was awesome. It was a bit pricey, but significantly cheaper the sushi we had before.

Day 12 - Spent most the day shopping for gifts and whiskey. Went to Don Quijote, and around Ginza, then headed to Nakameguro and walked to river to see the Cherry blossoms, it was beautiful. We then had lunch at Ukai Tei in omotesando, this was a pretty epic teppanyaki meal with some of the best beef I have ever had. We then wandered around Shibuya and Omotesando again and by the time we were hungry ended up back at Harajuku Gyoza-ro, it was an off hour so no line when we got there, but there was quite a line by the time we left. It started pouring out of nowhere so we grabbed a taxi back to the Andaz.

Day 13 - We had an early afternoon flight leaving NRT, we checked out and went down and the same driver that picked us up at the airport was waiting for us to take us back. Japan was amazing and probably one of our favorite countries we have ever visited. Everything about it from how things seem to be so well thought out, to the pride that people take in everything they do to all the amazing food from the hole in the walls, to the 7-11’s, to the michelin star restaurants and everything in between. We can’t wait to go back.
