Activities:

Riverwalk - While not as immersing as the one in Memphis, Austin still has a nice riverwalk to enjoy the scenery and outdoors.

Live Music - This was the purpose of my trip. I met up with fellow concertgoers at the White House to see a local band, then we all saw The Killers the next night at the brand new Moody Center. I ended up on stage playing drums for one song, which was the goal of this entire trip. It was a long day waiting outside the venue to be the front, but well worth the wait!

Lodging:

Hilton Garden Inn (Night 1) - Used points to book a Hilton Garden Inn about 30 minutes north of the city for my first night.

Airbnb (Nights 2 & 3) - Just went with an Airbnb because hotels near the venue were really expensive and this was a better deal. Nice neighborhood!

Eateries:

Food truck behind the White Horse - I believe we got Mexican food from there and it was very good.

Micklethwait BBQ - Tried Texas BBQ for the first time here.
